This is the work we’d do all day if we could choose.
Console tables, dining tables, table and side-table bases, chair and stool frames, all in mild steel and painted to suit the room. Often paired with a hardwood top, which is the part most fabricators hand off to somebody else.
Because we do both, the joint between them can be better. On the console tables the steel is rebated so the timber sits down into the frame, a small thing that changes how thin the whole piece reads from across a room.

Can you work from a picture or a drawing?
Yes, a photo, a sketch, a screenshot, or a piece you already own that needs matching. Most of our furniture work starts as a picture on WhatsApp. If something in the design won't work in steel, or will work but won't last, we'll say so before we start rather than after.
Do you make the timber tops as well, or only the steel?
Both. That's the point of the combination, on the console tables the top rail is rebated so the hardwood sits into the steel instead of on top of it, which keeps the edge line thin. Getting that right needs the same person doing the frame and the top.
Can you make a matched set?
Yes, and it's a different job to a one-off. Matched work gets jigged rather than measured piece by piece, and the welding order matters because steel moves as you heat it. If the frames are going under the same tops in the same room, they have to be identical, not similar.
Do you work in stainless steel?
No, we work in mild steel only. It is stronger for the money and takes paint well, so it suits almost any furniture frame. If a design needs stainless, we will tell you when you send the photo, rather than take the job on.
Do you work with interior designers?
Yes. A good part of our furniture work is trade, frames and bases to a designer's drawing, made to repeat. Happy to work from specs and to quote per unit on a batch.
