Upholstered bar stools
Cantilever stool frames in mild steel, taken from bare frame through to buttoned velvet seats.
A cantilever frame is harder than it looks. There is no back leg, so everything the sitter does is carried by one continuous bend and the joint at the bottom of it, which is where a badly made stool fails.
These were built as a matched set, frames first, then off to be upholstered in buttoned velvet. The footrail is set at the height it needs to be for a counter, not at the height that happens to look right on the frame.
